London Food Tour – London Borough Market. Part 1

I was in London a few weeks back to celebrate my daughter’s graduation, and decided to do a food tour.  We took this opportunity to visit London Borough Market.

I have been there several times over the years, and each time it has changed slightly.  This time I noticed that  it has really expanded!!  There are some wonderful shops and stalls selling all sorts of goods and produce from all over the world. The thing that fascinates me most was the shop called RAYA. It stocks Southeast Asian produce and there are so many cooking ingredients. I have made a running commentary about the produce/products and I hope you find it informative.

This is in Part 1: Click: London Borough Market | Food Tour Part 1 | Exotic Fruits, Vegetables and Ingredients

If you are in London, do give London Borough Market a tour. You will enjoy it.

This is a big Jackfruit!
This is a big Jackfruit! the flesh has a strong smell!

There are so many things to see and do and EAT that I make another video, part 2.

There are more businesses and food shops that I do not have the time to cover, so the list is not exhaustive.

Part 2 has more adventures and we tried Mei Mei’s Chicken Rice and Nasi Lemak. Is it good? Well, do have a look at part 2. It is coming soon.

Enjoy the tour.. and do subscribe to my channel nyonyarecipe.

I will document my travel, cooking and food related experience. At home, I normally cook from scratch, where possible. I love sharing my food and I hope you enjoy the episodes as much as I make them.

If you enjoy my trials and tribulation, please like, subscribe and share with your friends.

Happy watching!!
