Nowadays there are loads of recipes to do takeaways at home. This is especially true for slimming clubs like WW and Slimming World which I was once a member of. Here is my attempt at doing this.
Penang Hainanese Chicken Rice Meal, 18th Sept 2020 Friday Night Takeaway.
A delicious Malaysian home-cooked meal. Here is what happens when preparing it.
2 Fresh Chickens
2 clove garlic
1 tbsp 5-spice powder
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp maltose
3 cm ginger
1 block tofu
Garnishing: cucumber, coriander, spring onions
Step 1: Clean, marinade and season the chicken.
Step 2: Check that the seasoning is going on OK, Bast the chicken.
Step 3: Bast the chicken, set aside.
Step 4: Repeat the above step
Step 5: Repeat the above step, again
Step 6: Check that the chicken is properly seasoned and marinated. If it is not, repeat step 5 again.
Step 7: Heat up the oven and roast the chicken
Step 8: Prepare the vegetables,… Oh… that should be in between steps 3 and 4.
Step 9: Make the soup
Step 10: Cut the vegetables and set aside
Step 11: Wash and cook the rice
Step 12: Check out the cake…… ooooh that was yesterday’s work!!
Step 13: Where am I??
Step 14: Sheesh….. Must prepare my awesome chillie sauce! Where are the chillies?
Step 15: What the heck? Where is everything? ….???????
