Cauliflower rice

Replace rice with this easy imposter. Tastes almost the same but not really the same. It can be used to replace all the rice or half the to reduce the calorie content or just to lower the carbo intake.

Equipment

  • 1 microwave
  • 1 grater or chopper

Ingredients

  • 1 head Cauliflower

Instructions

  • Remove the outer leaves of the cauliflower and wash it.
  • Grate the cauliflower.
  • Place the grated cauliflower in a microwave safe container and cook for about 1.5 to 2 minutes. Stir and cook for the same amount of time.
  • Repeat until you use all of it.
  • Alternatively, you can steam it for a few minutes, depending on the quantity.
  • Use it to replace rice.
