Out of stock

Chicken Stew with Shiitake Mushroom, Red Dates and Goji Berries (2)

Friday Night Take-away 27 November 2020 – 5.15 to 6.00 pm Collection

It’s getting colder by the day. A warm stew would be nice. This month’s Fiday Night Take-away will be some thing filling and comforting. This meal is what we have when we crave for a Chinese meal.

Skinless and boneless chicken thighs will be slow cooked with ginger,  and garlic. Red dates are added for a sweet  undertone. I plan to have goji berries. I do have the red dates but I need to go to Leicester to get the goji berries. Then we have lock-down V2.0. So, I am not so sure yet. If I cannot get it, then, the goji berries will not be included.

We will have soup as well, since it is cold. The soup will be  omelette soup. Yes. An OMELLETTE soup. How can omelette be made into a soup?  I am not sure who invented it. But we have this a lot in the good old days. Perhaps, it is the ease of making it.  Children love eggs. The soup will be seasoned with typical Chinese seasonings like preseeved tien tsin cabbage, sesame oil and a dash of soy sauce. And some green garnishings.

Of course we will have rice. And a fried  vegetables to make the meal a balance one.

Dessert? I think I will bake a cake. A chocolate cake.

So click the order button  and reserve your meal.

I hope you find this meal intriguing
